All-New Kuga Titanium

AUCKLAND, Monday July 22, 2013
Ford New Zealand is excited to see the
culmination of their sponsorship of the first season of
X-Factor New Zealand, with this evening’s winner driving
away in an All-New Kuga Titanium.
Chris Masterson, Marketing Manager of Ford New Zealand, who is presenting the winner with their new car, says the Kuga is the perfect vehicle for managing the busy schedule that the X-Factor winner will now have.
“The Kuga Titanium is loaded with heaps of smart features fit for a busy superstar. With a boot that opens with a wave of the foot, the Auto Park Assist mode and Hands Free Tailgate function, Ford will help New Zealand’s newest singing sensation arrive at their appointments feeling ready to rock!”
The All-New Kuga
also includes the following functions:
• Active City
Stop, which by sensing traffic and automatically engaging
the brakes, dramatically reduces the chances of accidents
under 35 km p/h.
• Adaptive Cruise Control, allowing
the driver to set a prescribed following distance on the
vehicle in front which the car will automatically accelerate
and brake to maintain.
• SYNC, a hands-free Bluetooth
system that not only allows you to make calls on your mobile
phone, but also reads and writes text messages and controls
the audio system.
• Keyless entry and start.
The new
X-Factor winner will be no stranger to the All-New Kuga,
various segments of the show have been filmed in a Kuga and
the contestants have used the car extensively to travel
across the country. Judge Daniel Bedingfield has also been
enjoying the All-New Kuga Titanium with its array of smart
safety and functional features for the past two
weeks.
