Media Release
23 August 2013

The Northern Mystics are delighted to announce the appointment of Helene Wilson as Assistant Coach to Debbie Fuller for the 2014 season.

Wilson has an extensive netball background, which includes coaching roles for the NZ Secondary Schools Team and High Performance Management for Netball North Harbour.

She has also recently experienced elite level coaching when she took on the role of Head Coach for the newly formed Netball Northern Zone Under 23 team earlier this year and is excited to be taking the next step into the Northern Mystics. “It has been my goal to gain a position in the Northern Mystics coaching team and am delighted to have reached a point in my coaching career where I am now taking that next step – it’s a really exciting opportunity” said Wilson.

Her involvement outside of netball extends to a past career in teaching, and currently as an Athlete Life Advisor at High Performance Sport NZ, skills, which Northern Mystics Head Coach Debbie

Fuller says is invaluable experience to have in the high performance environment.
