November’s FAST5 Netball World Series draw
has been announced for 2013, one month out from the
competition as preparations kick into high gear.
International teams from the top six netballing nations will
descend on Auckland’s Vector Arena to contest the newest
and most dynamic short form of netball –
FAST5.
Defending champions the FAST5 Ferns will host the Australian FAST5 Flyers, England Fives, Jamaican Sunshine Girls, Malawi Queens and South Africa’s SPAR Proteas for the three-day event scheduled for 8-10 November.
Every one of the 20 netball matches will be broadcast live on SKY Sport with ticket sales for Vector Arena on track to reach record numbers. The FAST5 Netball World Series is supported by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED), and the New Zealand Government, through Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s Major Events Development Fund.
