Raoul Island Exhibition - Sarah Matthew
Raoul Island Exhibition - Sarah Matthew

Click for big version.
I recently spent six months on Raoul Island working as a volunteer weeder for DOC. It is an experience that I will always be very grateful for. Now that I have returned to the mainland I have selected a series of photographs taken during my time there, for an exhibtion at Thistle Hall. 'Raoul, Isalnd Time'.
As I packed for the Island I chose to leave
behind my pens and paints as I wanted to concentrate on
creating and taking photographs that reflected the
environment as I found it, without damaging or adding to
it.
'Raoul, Island Time' will be a positive and
thought provoking exhibition, that will enable veiwers to
see some of the things that make Raoul Island such a
compelling and magical place.
I was hoping to list the Exhibition and opening dates for promotion with you! You are warmlly invited to celebrate the opening with me, at 6pm tuesday November 19, I would be delighted to see you there!
