Foundation welcomes the Game Animal Council bill

The Fiordland Wapiti Foundation welcomes the Game Animal Council bill passed in Parliament.
“ This is a great week for hunters in New Zealand with the passing of the Game Animal Council Bill” said Roy Sloan President of the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation The Foundation would like to acknowledge Peter Dunne for supporting this bill and working tirelessly with the National led government to ensure the bill is successful.
“The Game Animal Council is just what the Foundation has been waiting for. We need this level of support for our recreation and our conservation projects in Fiordland” said Roy Sloan The hard work is about to begin to build this Council to benefit both recreation and conservation.
“At last we can now get on with it.” He added
