NZGT Reaches End of Semi Finals - Grand Final Coming Up!
NZGT Reaches End of Semi Finals - Grand Final Coming Up!
Sunday 24 November at 7.30pm
Tonight saw the last group of New Zealand’s Got Talent semi-finalists battle it out for the remaining two spaces in the Grand Final, which screens in a two-hour special next Sunday night.
This was arguably the toughest night of the competition, with five strong performances to choose from. Natasha Alexandra from Auckland played guitar and sang another original song, showing off strong song-writing ability and poise. IDentity dance crew from Auckland mixed in some vocals to their cutting-edge routine and impressed the judges hugely. Estella Winnie-McGee from New Plymouth sang an original song and played piano, and showed a maturity beyond her years. The Black Trio from Wanganui and Wellington shook the theatre up with their fusion of reggae and rock, and the judges loved it. Sam Francks from Auckland, a very gifted 12-year-old, sang opera classic ‘O Sole Mio’ and did not disappoint fans of his impressive first audition.
Voting is open now, until midnight Monday. For all voting details, please visit: http://tvnz.co.nz/new-zealands-got-talent-2013
