Hands up if you remember being a kid, and every evening in December you got to open a little numbered window on a crappy cardboard calendar before you went to bed? There'd always be a tiny chocolate or something behind each window and eventually you'd open the final one on the 24th and that meant the next day was... CHRISTMAS.

Well we here at La De Da remember those calendars. It meant the start of something exciting. Christmas was god damn coming! We decided we wanted to run our own version of the event calendar for you, the good people of Aotearoa.

There are some rather noticeable differences between the cardboard and chocolate version and our La De Da Advent Calendar. For example we're using instagram instead of cardboard and we're giving away a 2 day pass with camping instead of a chocolate. That's right folks, each day up until Christmas day, starting on the 1st of December this coming Sunday you'll have the chance to win a 2 day pass with camping included to La De Da NYE 2013. If you happen to have already purchased a ticket but you'd like to enter the competition anyway, you have the chance to win a free VIP upgrade on your existing ticket.

It's really simple to enter. From December 1st you just need to snap a pic that best represents Christmas for you. It can be funny, serious, it can include you or not. The creative side of it is completely up to you. Once you've taken the picture instagram it tagging in @ladedanye and hash tagging #ladedanye13. The person with the most likes each day (calculated at 9am every following morning) will be contacted by us here at La De Da to let you know you've won. The La De Da facebook page will post each winning pic right up until Christmas Day.

Please note this competition is ONLY open to those 18 and over. La De Da NYE 2013 is a licensed event and tickets will not be presented to anyone under the age of 18.
