Sky Tower lights up orange for World Vision’s 40 Hour Famine
Auckland’s skyline will glimmer orange this weekend as World Vision begins the annual 40 Hour Famine campaign.
The Sky Tower lights will flash 40 times as they switch on at 6pm tonight in recognition of the event’s 40th year, then remain fully lit until Sunday 25 May.
The Sky Tower is New Zealand’s tallest man-made structure and SKYCITY frequently lights the Sky Tower to show support for a number of organisations and special events.
SKYCITY often lights the Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, or to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations.
