New Zealand has
a history of debating whether the national flag should be
changed. Many think it’s often confused with the
Australian flag and ignores New Zealand's Maori
heritage.
Earlier this year, Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key, finally announced that the country will vote in a referendum within the next three years on whether to change the nation’s flag.
