March in Solidarity with Kurdistan, Sat 23rd August
MARCH IN SOLIDARITY WITH KURDISTAN SATURDAY 23rd AUGUST
19 August 2014
To whom it may concern,
The New Zealand Kurdish Community will march in solidarity with Kurdistan in light of the heinous genocidal attacks in Şingal (also known as Sinjar) against Kurdish Yezidis and Kurdish Christians. Our march will begin at Britomart, Queen Street in Auckland at 12pm Saturday 23rd August and end at Aotea Centre.
Over 500 people have pledged to join the march to stand with our brothers and sisters abroad who are victims of these inhumane acts of terror. New Zealand leaders in Government and opposition should condemn this genocide and acknowledge the need for an independent Kurdistan.

Sincerely,
New Zealand Kurdish Community
