In Korero Mai Ki Ahau on Saturday, Eruera Morgan talks to linguist and veteran te reo Maori broadcaster Te Waihoroi Shortland about the quality of language coming across on Maori television and radio.

Sunday 12th October

On Sunday it’s Te Uroroa Flavell’s first time on Korero Mai Ki Ahau in his new role as Minister of Maori Development. The Waiariki MP and Maori Party co-leader is also responsible for Whanau Ora and is an Associate Minister for Economic Development. He talks with Eruera Morgan about his journey as educator, activist and politician, and what he wants to achieve over the next three years.

Korero Mai Ki Ahau a half hour features programme every Saturday and Sunday from noon, which takes an in – depth look at issues affecting te ao Maori. Totally in te reo Maori brought to you by Waatea News in association with Te Mangai Paho.
