Festival of Lights 2014 returns to Wellington with a week
long celebrations leading up to the Mela event.

18/Oct/2014 .

Diwali Garba - Interactive dance night with live
musicians.

Wellington Indian Association (WIA).
2) Diwali
Mela day
There will be 18 diverse vegetarian
food stalls, more than 20 Indian retail and information
stalls, workshops, non stop live entertainment from
classical to folk to fusion to Bollywood and Bhangra acts
from local and international performers.
The event will conclude at 10 pm with a spectacular Finale and a countdown to a colourful display of Fireworks from a barge by the Wellington waterfront.
