Artist Paints to Celebrate the Beauty of the Whakatohea and the People of Opotiki
Pakowhai – The Eye of Opotiki
NZ Maori Artist, Te Mete, is on a mission to enhance and showcase the beauty that exists in the Whakatohea / Opotiki region.
Te Mete has created 2 exhibitions 'Pakowhai - The Eye of Opotiki' with the support of Creative New Zealand.
The exhibition includes both fine art paintings and photography which will be displayed for ne night only from 7pm at a Beach front estate at 1625 State Highway 2, Waiotahi Beach Opotiki on the 29th of November.
“The aim is to celebrate the many attributes that exist in the community, through the people, history, beauty and what is an iconic quintessential New Zealand town with great values and awesome people” – says the Artist
