Kiwis go nuts over local cola

Kiwis are using their social media vote to keep Charlie’s Straight Up Cola on the market this summer. More than 82% of Charlie’s Facebook fans have voted ‘yes’ to Charlie’s making another batch of the new local cola, with over 1,406 Kiwis posting their ‘thumbs up’ selfies on Facebook and Instagram.

“People kept asking us to make a local cola so we thought we’d give it a crack. Then we launched it through Facebook and Instagram so people could honestly let us know whether it up to scratch or not. So far, we’ve had 82% of voters say they love it, 13% are still on the fence and around 5% have given us a straight up no!

We’re keen to hear what the rest of New Zealand has to say before we make the final call! Should we make it again, should we tweak it or should we scrap it altogether?” asks Craig Cotton, CEO The Better Drinks Co.

Made with natural malt, cane sugar, lemon and real kola nuts, Charlie’s Straight Up Cola is the perfect accompaniment to summer BBQs, cocktails or as a cold afternoon treat on its own.

Kiwis have until Friday 19th of December to cast their vote at @CharliesDrinks on Facebook and to share their honest feedback or post their own Charlie’s Straight Up Cola selfie with a thumbs up (tastes pretty awesome), thumbs half way (dunno) or a straight thumbs down.

Charlie’s Straight Up Cola is available at most leading supermarkets or convenience stores, but if they don’t have it just be straight up and ask!
