Bathurst 12 Hour 2015


Christchurch, New Zealand-based motorsport operation GT3 Endurance Ltd is pleased to announce their driver line-up for the 2015 Bathurst 12 hour.

In the lead #66 2010 Porsche GT3 Cup are:

Scott O’Donnell, Invercargill NZ

Hayden Knighton, Christchurch NZ

Michael Lyons, UK

Scott O’Donnell returns to the mountain for his seventh endurance race with the highlight being 5th overall and second in class in 2012.

Michael has tasted success in a Ferrari 458 GT3 with a second place in the European Le Mans series in 2012 and third overall in the British GT Championship in 2011. Michael has been a past winner of the historic F1 race at Monaco as well as being one of the faster F5000 drivers in the world. This is a second attempt at the Bathurst 12 hour.

Hayden is an experienced Porsche GT3 driver who is taking his first step driving off-shore.

The #69 2008 Porsche GT3 Cup will be driven by team drivers:

Lindsay O’Donnell, Christchurch NZ

Phil Mauger, Christchurch NZ

Frank Lyons, UK


Lindsay O’Donnell, Team Owner, returns to the mountain having competed in the 24 hour race in 2002.


This will be Phil Mauger’s first appearance at the 12 hour event but he is an experienced Porsche GT3 driver.

Frank Lyons (father of Michael) also makes a return to the mountain having competed in the 2014 12 hour race.

All three drivers are vastly experienced historic F1, F5000 and Endurance drivers.
