New Literary E-Journal Showcases Kiwi Short Stories
Headland, a new literary e-journal, launched today with Issue1 now available through Amazon Kindle Store. Headland is an exciting quarterly publication, featuring short stories and creative non-fiction from New Zealand and around the world.
The journal predominantly showcases New Zealand writing, and aims to give aspiring writers a platform for publication alongside more established authors. In addition, Headland will offer an annual prize for the best story published.
Founding Editors, Laura McNeur and Liesl Nunns, along with the editorial team, are thrilled to see Issue 1 out in the world.
“We hope that Headland provides many enjoyable reading moments, and offers inspiration and opportunity to Kiwi writers.”
Writers are currently invited to submit their work for the second issue by 20 February 2015, by visiting headland.org.nz/guidelines
The journal can be purchased through Amazon and read on any Kindle or with the free Kindle app available for other devices in the Apple or Android store.
Headland is an activity of The Maisonette Trust.
