Television is celebrating ATA MĀRIE – WAITANGI 2015 with
a two-hour live-to-air broadcast to get your day started on
February 6.
Presenters Te Arahi Maipi and Billie-Jo Ropiha will be in the studio from 9.00am to 11.00am to talk about nationhood and the Treaty in New Zealand.
During the programme, they also find out about the upcoming Te Matatini national kapa haka competition to be held in Christchurch, and talk to Māori living in London.
The fabulous Miss Kihi Ririnui will be reporting live from Waitangi to keep viewers up to date with what is happening there.
Māori Television’s wharekai will transform into a bustling cooking hub under the culinary expertise of Pio Terei and Peter Peeti and our studio stage will warm up to the reggae beats of L40, The Lioness and The Wailers.
