Latu to Miss Summer Shootout
The Northern Mystics will be without Cathrine Latu for this weekend’s Summer Shootout in Sydney. The shooter took ill on Thursday and had emergency surgery to remove her appendix on Friday. She has come through the procedure well, but will remain in Auckland while working on her recovery.
The Mystics have their season launch in Auckland on Wednesday and fly to Sydney on Thursday morning.
The Summer Shootout, which is the ANZ Championship’s pre-season tournament, runs Feb 6-8.
