line-up for Summer
GET READY for Summer Festival
of the Arts 2015 with a fresh NZ lineup of talent teaming up
for charity in February as part of Songs for Aroha
in partnership with renowned New Zealand
entertainer Mika Haka.
A new serve of original music
written by Mika is not only performed by him, it also treats
you to the established and the newest emerging talent in
this country.
“The excitement of making music for a
cause has seen this collaboration that will hit airwaves as
part of The Aroha Project this summer” said
Mika.
Hitting the public on Feb 8 2015 at Big Gay Out the
compilation supports the Mika Haka Foundation’s
anti-bullying and suicide prevention program ‘The Aroha
Project”.
“We can all change, grow and gain strength
and learn through the infinity we as people have with music,
Songs for Aroha is inspired from life’s
journeys about love” said Mika.
100% of all proceeds go
straight to the Aroha Project to support anti-bullying and
suicide prevention programs in Aotearoa.

Bizarre) produce 15 year old Chainey
Nathan’s debut single Aroha alongside Te
Puke’s 13 year old talent Te Amo at Big
Gay Out 2015
Songs are performed in Te Reo Māori and
English with genres ranging from Dance club charting pop, to
chilled out spoken word and an anthemic ‘We are the
world’ styled track “Friend” featuring a galaxy
of music sensations Erakah and Ed Ru,
alongside International Kapa Haka - Taki
Maori.
