Giving Drives Meeting Agenda
Giving Drives Meeting Agenda
If you are part of a charitable organisation who look after those most in need – or, if you know someone who is –then a one on one meeting with The GM of The Catholic Caring Foundation is for “The Catholic Caring Foundation is the Bishop of Auckland’s philanthropic arm. The mandate from Bishop Patrick Dunn is to give to groups who care for those in need. Since we receive funds from our Parishioners, we are entrusted with distributing donations efficiently and effectively,” explains Darragh.
“And, that’s why meeting face to face is important, but not essential to receiving a grant.”
“We’ve given more than 12 million dollars to local groups since 1988 with the mission to care for those that are not able. They also provide a mentor service to community groups who need assistance with strategic planning and marketing.”
Darragh O’Riordan is the General Manager of The Catholic Caring Foundation and she will be visiting Kaitaia on 19 February, Whangarei on 20 February and Whitianga on Tuesday 24 February from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, and you are invited to meet with her to discuss possible funding of your charity.
For example, a community group that cares for the elderly, or disenfranchised, or impoverished, or those that are alone are defined in The Catholic Caring Foundation’s Grants Policy found on the website www.caringfoundation.org.nz
If you wish to meet with Darragh, please call The Catholic Caring Foundation’s office on (09) 360-3045 to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to meet with Darragh and wish to submit an application for a grant, please visit the website to view criteria deadline dates.
