Press Release by ThinkBrands
Calling
Wellington gamers, makers, creators and enthusiastic
competitors! Pop Up Arcade NZ is bringing a projector, a
building and games together at Cuba Dupa on Saturday 28th
March to take your game play to the next level.
Try the freshest Wellington made games in the day, and join a giant four-player knock-out Mario Kart tournament at night, projected on the side of a building. With a gaming stage, live MCs and scores on the wall, it will be an awesome experience for gamers large and small.
The local games showcase and sign-ups start from midday, with the Mario Kart tournament running from 8 pm until midnight. Pop Up Arcade is just for fun, and is running a crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs, which you can support at Pledge Me.
Tell all your friends, bring the whanau and follow the fun on Facebook. Pop Up Arcade NZ is brought to you by ThinkBrands, Gamefroot and Mohawk Media, with thanks for support to Epson, Biz Dojo, BGI, Zeal and the Cuba Dupa team.
