Fourth Building Gallipoli video reveals miniatures, models and dioramas for exhibition
The fourth Building Gallipoli video released this evening reveals some of the miniatures, models and dioramas being created for Gallipoli: The scale of our war, opening April 18.
“A museum exhibition gives us the opportunity to utilise the combination of modern technology and the more traditional hand skill model-making,” exhibition Creative Director Sir Richard Taylor says.
“This is a highly visual experience, it’s got to be. You’ve got the artefact, you’ve got film, you’ve got picture, but that’s simply an introduction to a story and you’ve got an ability then to explore all these different layers but each one in its way a crown jewel,” exhibition Historical Director Dr Christopher Pugsley says.
