Crosspower Congratulates National Hip Hop Champions 2015
Crosspower NZ congratulates Street Dance NZ for another successful New Zealand Hip Hop Dance Championships 2015.
Saturdays event to a capacity crowd of 2000 supporters and spectators packed the Vodafone Events Centre and celebrated the champions, leaders and hero’s that were born and grown last night.
Crosspower NZ’s is proud to announce the leader of its Soar Dance programme Tony Pati qualified to represent NZ at Worlds in San Diego in August as part of Prestige Dance Crew.

Tony Pati is using his talents to support the next generation of dancers through Crosspowers Soar Dance programme with Crosspower dance crew ‘Abide’ wining the Most Promising Crew award at the National Championships. Abide is an all male hip hop dance crew from South Auckland who have been together for just two short years. Their set was described as a ‘bit of jungle fever groove with old school groove’ and the judges and crowd loved it.
Abide started under the Soar dance programme run by Crosspower NZ. Soar dance is a free dance programme for those who are interested in dance. With a unique blend of dance opportunities and life skills mentoring his programme helps young people unlock their potential and soar above their challenges.
Crosspower NZ congratulates all those who put in the hard work to be a part of this event and to all those who qualified to represent NZ at the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in San Deigo in August.
