Position Vacant: Vodafone Warriors Deputy CEO
Position Vacant: Vodafone Warriors Deputy CEO
No Experience Required!
Leading a club like the Vodafone Warriors is a big job, so Vodafone’s Fantastic Fridays is looking for someone to take the reins as Deputy CEO for a few days, and give Jim Doyle a hand.
Applications are now open for all passionate Vodafone Warriors fans that think they have what it takes. This money-can’t-buy experience will give the successful applicant a rare behind-the-scenes look at the workings of this much-loved NRL club.
No experience is required, but Jim Doyle - current CEO of the Vodafone Warriors - has some words of advice for those looking to apply.
“Passion for all things Vodafone Warriors is what we’re looking for here. It doesn’t matter what age or background the applicants have – we’ll be looking for someone who wants to get to know the team inside and out and considers themselves a massive fan.”
Matt Williams, Vodafone’s Consumer Director (and keen talent-spotter) encourages Vodafone’s customers to apply.
“This latest experience from Vodafone Fantastic Fridays is perhaps our best yet – following over four million deals and offers already enjoyed by our customers. The winner won’t just get alongside their favourite team, but take on New Zealand’s ultimate sports apprenticeship at this iconic club.”
Some of the
responsibilities for the Deputy CEO include:
• Meet,
motivate and help prep the team for game day at Captain’s
Run – the final training session before a big
game
• Attend the Vodafone Warriors vs Roosters game to
cheer the team to victory
• Help Jim Doyle make
important decisions about the team before game
day
• Meet and greet important team stakeholders,
alongside Jim Doyle
• Take part in media interviews
following the game
However, it’s not all hard work. Job benefits include a Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S6 loaded with $100 credit; a suit fitting from Barkers; a personal car park at Mt Smart Stadium; a personalised Vodafone Warriors jersey; accommodation at SKYCITY; and perks from Vodafone Fantastic Fridays like movie tickets for the Deputy CEO’s day off.
Hopefuls can apply for the role at fantasticfridaysceo.vodafone.co.nz Entries close June 7 2015
