Unitec Dance supports choreographer’s fight with cancer

Unitec Dance supports choreographer’s fight with cancer

1 & 2 by 3: Solos & Duets is a new show by the Unitec Department of Performing and Screen Arts – Dance Programme, featuring the third year dancers. Responding to the provocation of solo and duet choreography, the students engage in physical and intimate exchange and solitary expertise. Accompanied by music ranging from classical to hip-hop, 1 & 2 by 3 is not to be missed.

It is also a chance to support one of our guest choreographers and industry professionals. In late 2014, Maria Dabrowska was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a blood plasma cancer. To raise funds for alternative treatment alongside a stem cell transplant and chemotherapy, Maria has created aGivealittle campaign.

In support of Maria, all the proceeds from 1 & 2 by 3 ticket sales will be donated to her campaign. Unitec is proud to support Maria, and hope that you will also get behind us. Please show your support by booking your ticket and coming to the show and/or donate to her Givealittle campaign.

Venue/Date: Unitec Dance Studios, Entry 1, Carrington Rd, Mt Albert on 13-14 June 2015 @7:30pm
