SKYCITY Hamilton to Sponsor the Waikato Cup
SKYCITY
Hamilton is the new Key Sponsor of the Waikato Racing
Club’s feature event, the Waikato Cup.
The iconic racing event, which will now be known as the SKYCITY Hamilton Waikato Cup, attracts a large crowd every year in December. It is a hugely popular pre-Christmas event attended by thousands - from passionate racegoers to many local corporates who choose the event as their end of year staff or client function.
Waikato Racing Club General Manager Ken Rutherford said:
“We are delighted to partner with SKYCITY Hamilton. The Waikato Cup is our largest and most prominent race day on the calendar and we can only see the event going from strength to strength with the support of a premium entertainment provider such as SKYCITY Hamilton.”
SKYCITY Hamilton General Manager Michelle Baillie said that SKYCITY Hamilton is pleased to partner with Waikato Racing Club.
“SKYCITY is proud to be coming on board as Key Sponsor of such a popular, iconic event for the Waikato region. We’re committed to supporting local organisations and events that involve our community, and the Waikato Cup certainly does that. We’re looking forward to working with Waikato Racing Club over the next few months to help deliver another amazing event this year.”
Hospitality packages for the SKYCITY Hamilton Waikato Cup, which always sell out quickly, will be released in the next few weeks.
