2015 Unitec Pacific Songwriting Competition
The Unitec Pacific Songwriting Competition is now in its second year and we are accepting entries until 31 August 2015. The competition is open to all. Unitec is showing its support for the Pacific Language Weeks programme by offering prizes and performance opportunities for the best original songs written using Pacific languages. A FREE one-day Pacific Songwriting Workshop supervised by Unitec music tutors will be held at Unitec’s Department of Performing & Screen Arts, Mt Albert, Auckland on Tuesday 7 July (9:30am – 3:30pm) during the mid-year school break. Lunch provided. The workshop is open to anyone who is interested or who has entered the competition, to assist them in developing their songs and music.
