Charity Auction for Starlit HOPE
New Zealand Kombucha Producer Goodbuzz Brewing announces Charity Auction for Starlit HOPE
WELLINGTON,
NEW ZEALAND, July 13, 2015 - Today, Wellington’s
award-winning kombucha brewer, Goodbuzz Brewing, announced
their newest project : a Charity Auction with all proceeds
benefiting Starlit HOPE.
Winner of the 2015 Artisan Emerging Food Producer Awards, Goodbuzz Brewing is well-known around New Zealand for their non-alcoholic probiotic soft-drinks called kombucha or Booch®. From the ‘Kombuchery’ located in the Lower Hutt suburb of Wainuiomata, owners Alex and Amber Campbell said they have always intended to give back to the community that has supported them in their freshman year efforts, and are thrilled to begin this venture.
“When we decided on setting up an e-commerce platform within our Facebook page it made sense to have a charity at the core given the power of social interaction the Facebook platform offers,” says Alex. “We're so happy that so many people jumped on and nominated a charity they feel passionate about and even more so for Starlit HOPE. We get more exposure for our product, more people get access to a healthy gut boosting and tasty brew, and charities get more direct support - everyone wins."
In addition to Goodbuzz products, the auction also includes donations totaling over $2500 from other health industry related companies such as: The Honest Food Company, Raglan Coconut Yoghurt, Soul Organics, Tom & Luke’s, Be Nourished, The Original Kumara Chips, Nourish granola, Peter Piper’s Hot Sauce and Ritual Tea Company.
The auction will begin on the Goodbuzz Brewing Facebook page on
Tuesday July 14th and ends on Sunday July 19th at 5 PM.
