New Zealand shearing great David Fagan has bowed out of top international competition by reaching the final of the French Open Championship with son Jack.
The four-man final over 20 lambs each, shorn early today at Saissac dans l’Aude, was won by Ian Jones, of Llandrindod, Wales.
Jack Fagan was second, French shearer Thimoleon Resneau was third, and David Fagan fourth.
