Joseph Parker goes for a spin in Queenstown
Fighting fit – Having a knockout time in Queenstown fresh from his Invercargill win, New Zealand heavyweight boxing champ Joseph Parker was after a different type of adrenaline buzz.
Staff at KJet, the world’s first commercial Jet boat company, were thrilled to welcome the champ on board to enjoy the thrills of Jet boating on beautiful Lake Wakatipu and along the Kawarau and Shotover rivers.
The 23-year-old said he was “pretty stoked” after the weekend, spending time relaxing in Queenstown with friends.
Described as “pretty relaxed and in great spirits” Parker was happy to go along for the ride in a KJet ‘big yellow’ and take the hair-raising 360-degree spins as they came.
