Get your dose of Laughing Gas
Cohen Holloway headlines
the first Live Laughs stand up comedy show at the Gasworks,
Miramar on Thursday 17 September. A master impersonator,
Cohen was a star on TV1's Facelift, with his impressions of
John Campbell, Jake the Muss and David Lange well known
around the country.
Fresh from New York and now residing in the capital, MC Neil Thornton has made his mark with appearances on TV3's After Hours as hosted by Ben Hurley, and frequent Fringe Festival and Comedy Festival shows. Sharp observational comedy and a quick wit, Neil guarantees a great night of comedy.
Pax Assadi's unique blend of personal stories and insightful observations will have you pondering the big questions of life whilst simultaneously doubled over with laughter. Raw Comedy Quest finalist and Billy T nominee.
Jamaine Ross has been cracking up audiences all over NZ with stories of his childhood experiences and obsessions, and his keen observations on everyday life, which he sometimes explores further than necessary, but to hilarious effect. Also a Billy T nominee and a guest panelist on 7Days.
Celebrating Gasworks'
fourth birthday, Live Laughs will be a great night of
celebration with top comedians.
