ColensoBBDO to be entertained this week by Robbie Williams

ColensoBBDO to be entertained this week by Robbie Williams in support of BOTAB charity The New Zealand Music Foundation

Not content with simply winning the top gong for best band, ColensoBBDO have also taken out this year’s CAANZ Battle of the Ad Bands silent auction held in aid of The NZ Music Foundation and are set to enjoy Robbie Williams’ sellout “Let Me Entertain You” tour show at Vector Arena in Auckland tomorrow night. The team will enjoy VIP red carpet pre-show treatment, drinks, food and platinum seats for the event.

The lucky concert attendees have also received CD copies of Williams’s acclaimed Swing When You’re Winning, Take The Crown and Swings Both Ways albums together with the blu-ray DVD of the extraordinary Live In Tallinn concert, where Robbie played to 70,000 on Independence Day in the Baltic nation of Estonia.

ColensoBBDO’s winning bid contributed to a fundraising result from this year’s goth-themed ad agency band extravaganza that has allowed The New Zealand Music Foundation to provide vital instruments to support music therapy to people with life-limiting conditions at a Wellington hospice.

“We’re thrilled that BOTAB, which is a tradition on our calendar now and such a great night for all, is also able to make a difference through music to the lives of kiwis in need with The NZ Music Foundation.” said Paul Head, CAANZ CEO. “ColensoBBDO have really got into the spirit of it and to get hold of these hot VIP tickets for the agency is a fantastic reward for their generosity.”

General Manager of The New Zealand Music Foundation, Peter Dickens says: “We’d like to congratulate ColensoBBDO and also give our thanks to the great teams at Universal Music NZ and Vector Arena. Music Therapy as part of palliative care is incredibly effective and the generosity shown by ColensoBBDO will bring comfort, help and support to many families at a very difficult time.”
