Into the Unknown Casting Call Announced

Auckland, NZ – Spring Sky are casting several roles in their new feature film, 'Into the Unknown', a horror-adventure set in the Far North of New Zealand about a young woman who vanishes in the wilderness. When the search and rescue is called off, without a trace, her friends decide to take matters into their own hands, embarking on a personal and emotional journey.
Spring Sky are casting the following roles:
BRAD – (male, 24-30) Cocky, sarcastic, and
funny.
CHASE – (male, 24-30) Quiet, subdued, and
mature.
MYA – (female, 20-30) Determined, independent,
and magnetic.
NATE – (male 30-40) Mysterious, reserved,
and level-headed.
TYLER – (female, 20-30)
Strong-willed, brave, and free-spirited.
'Brad', 'Chase', 'Mya', and 'Tyler' are close friends and band members. Cool, hip, talented and good looking. Fun, funny and larger than life. 'Nate' is a rugged drifter, traveling the open road.
Each role requires a personality that can carry an entire movie, as well as natural chemistry within a group dynamic. Musical and/or singing ability is preferred but not a requirement.

Application Criteria/Restrictions:
- All
applicants must be available for the shooting dates in
January 2016.
- All applicants must be Auckland-based
during the filming period.
- All applicants must be
eligible to work in NZ.
Please Note:
- This is a
low-budget Independent Film and all actors will receive
deferred payment (as outlined in their contract) with the
possibility of back-end participation.
- Day-to-day
expenses will be provided for as required.
- This type of
production would suit aspiring actors and those who have not
yet pushed open the doors to Hollywood who are available
over the New Zealand summer and want to sink their teeth
into a feature film role.
- You must have a professional
attitude, be reliable, passionate and comfortable working in
a low-budget
environment.
