Tiny Ruins to Support Leon Bridges in Auckland
Tiny Ruins to Support Leon Bridges in Auckland
TINY RUINS has been
announced as the support for retro soul artist LEON BRIDGES
when the rising American star makes his NZ debut at the St
James Theatre on Saturday 9 January 2016.
Tiny Ruins formed as a solo project in 2009 by Hollie Fulbrook and now perform tracks from two widely acclaimed albums as a four piece, touring extensively around the world.
The group’s haunting folk will make a spellbinding foil for the equally emotive sound of Leon Bridges and his band.
The 26 year-old Texan headliner has had a stunning end to his break-out year, picking up a Grammy nomination for his soulful debut Coming Home and appearing with Macklemore and Lewis on their brand new hit single as well as featuring on the new Will Smith/Ridley Scott movie soundtrack.
The addition of Tiny Ruins elevates this must-see show to a pack-up-your-holiday-and-head-home-a-day-early-and-beat-that-Sunday-traffic-anyway-essential!
