11th January 2016

Tennis Sensation David Ferrer signs Gold Leaf Moët & Chandon Jeroboam for Ronald McDonald House

Tennis star David Ferrer visited Ronald McDonald House in Auckland yesterday to sign a gold leaf Moët & Chandon Jeraboam worth $20,000 that is set to be auctioned off to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

During his visit, Ferrer was given a tour of the facilities and met with several Kiwi families that are currently staying at Ronald McDonald House, before signing the bottle.

“We were so grateful to have David make the time to come out and visit our House today before his big week ahead. Our families were all very excited to have the chance to meet an international tennis star. It was a pleasure having him and we thank him and Moët & Chandon for showing us their support” says RMHC CEO, Wayne Howett.

As a sponsor of the ASB Classic, Moët & Chandon were excited to have the opportunity to do something special for RMHC, the tournament’s official charity.

“We wanted to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities on this occasion to not only help raise additional money for such a worthy organisation but to also create some excitement for the families staying there. We are thrilled be able to show them our support” says Moët & Chandon Senior Brand Manager, Rai Banbury.
