Get up close and personal with the BLACKCAPS

Cricket fans will get the opportunity to meet the BLACKCAPS and show their support, Saturday 23 January, 11am–12 noon under the sails at Queens Wharf, before the first ANZ ODI BLACKCAPS v Pakistan at the Basin Reserve on Monday.

The BLACKCAPS lining up to meet their supporters will be Ross Taylor, Martin Guptill, Corey Anderson, Trent Boult, Adam Milne and Mitchell McClenaghan.

Bring your cricket gear down for a signature from the star players or take home a free signed poster to hang on your wall.

The BLACKCAPS will be lining up next to the ICC World Twenty20 Trophy on display so make sure you grab a photo with the trophy before you leave. The Nissan ICC World Twenty20 takes place in India this March; we’re wishing the BLACKCAPS the very best of luck in the tournament!

Not only will the BLACKCAPS be there in person but there’ll be 10 life-sized player cut-outs to watch out for. Snap a selfie with one or all 10 of them and you could be in to win a VIP package for you and four mates to the first ANZ Test match BLACKCAPS v Australia at the Basin Reserve, 12–16 February, official signed Memorabilia Packs or a double pass. All you have to do is upload a #BLACKCAPSselfie.

If you can’t make it to Queens Wharf this Saturday then watch out for cricket stars in the city, Freyberg Pool, the Basin Reserve’s NZ Cricket Museum, Wellington Central Library, and at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre.

If you missed out on Monday’s sold out match make sure you buy your tickets early for the second ANZ ODI v Australia on 6 February at Westpac Stadium, and the first ANZ Test v Australia at the iconic Basin Reserve, 12-16 February.
