Sing for a Night!
Sing for a Night!
If you sing when you are happy, or are happier when you sing, here’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss!
Mighty River Harmony is looking for men like you who enjoy singing. The 50-strong Waikato chorus is the largest and one of the more successful male harmony singing groups in the country.
Come along to their Open Night on Tuesday (23rd), join in the vocal warm-ups and some of the singing, and listen to the chorus perform some of their favourite songs.
Musical director Jill Rodgers says it will be informal, fun and an opportunity for you to be part of producing four-part harmony.
“Lack of experience is not a problem – we have an ongoing programme of training in the finer points of harmony singing,” says Jill.
“Ability to read music is an advantage but not essential because CDs and learning tracks are available for each part.”
The Open Night is at the McMeekan Centre, Ruakura campus, starting at 7.30pm.
