PAQUIN to Tour South Island in March/April

Critically-acclaimed electro-gaze rockers Paquin uncovered their latest offering III recently, the aptly named final piece in a tripartite EP release. With pummelling waves of sugary, electric pulses harking to the likes epic dance-pop of M83, Paquinbring anthemic hooks in bucketloads, as evidenced from III’s first outing, Get Here. It’s a perfect piece of unabashed pop; highlighting Tom Healy’s “innate ability to create an anthemic hook without resorting to cliche... it slinkily alternates from restraint to euphoria and back again” (Cheese on Toast).

The band have taken their tripped-out dream-pop to stages around the country in celebration of the release, and are embarking on an extension of their tour.
