PAQUIN to Tour South Island in March/April
Critically-acclaimed electro-gaze rockers Paquin uncovered their latest offering III recently, the aptly named final piece in a tripartite EP release. With pummelling waves of sugary, electric pulses harking to the likes epic dance-pop of M83, Paquinbring anthemic hooks in bucketloads, as evidenced from III’s first outing, Get Here. It’s a perfect piece of unabashed pop; highlighting Tom Healy’s “innate ability to create an anthemic hook without resorting to cliche... it slinkily alternates from restraint to euphoria and back again” (Cheese on Toast).
