YMCA Cool Auction to win the Ultimate Kids Camp

YMCA NZ is offering kids aged 10-15 the opportunity to design their own ultimate Kids Adventure by launching a Cool TradeMe Auction.

The Auction allows the winning bidder to design their own Ultimate Kids Camp for themselves and 3 friends.

The winning bidders, together with the YMCA staff, will design the best way to spend 4 days (3 nights) and the theme can include a mix of technology, sport, outdoors, water or arts experiences. A dedicated YMCA Camp Manager and Camp Buddy will be assigned and matched with the participant’s interests and personalities.

The YMCA guarantees that they will return the children safe but knackered after 4 days of pure fun.

The YMCA is offering this Cool Auction on TradeMe because they believe that Camps are a rite of passage for New Zealand children where they can build their confidence, experience the outdoors and make new friends within a safe and supportive environment.

People that would like to sponsor a child to attend a camp whose family cannot afford to send them, can donate via the YMCA website:www.ymca.org.nz/donation

The YMCA is a national organisation with 13 Y centres across the country, and has been supporting New Zealand communities since 1855. The YMCA offers Kids Camps throughout the year.
