Etienne de France’s Artist’s Lecture

Etienne de France’s Artist’s Lecture

Etienne de France will deliver his first artist’s lecture on Tuesday 8 March at Massey University. During his presentation, Etienne will talk about his creative practice and his plans for his time in residence. Etienne will show examples of both previous and on-going projects and address a central theme in his artistic practice: the relationship between nature and modified landscapes. Using the format of fictional documentary and questioning the role of landscape as a space for struggle and the imagination, the artist will discuss his approach to his new project The Green Vessel. Light refreshments will be served after the lecture, at which time Etienne will meet with guests.
