Artist Talks and Demonstrations
Week Ending Sunday 13 March

Wednesday 9 March
Maria Bozina (Painter) 12 pm - 1 pm
Maria's paintings in oil on wood are full of mystery and imagination.
She will demonstrate and talk about her process, drawing with charcoal and painting with oils.

Saturday 12 March
Nicki Manthel (Painter) 12 pm - 1 pm
Her large works based on foliage and flowers are painted with acrylic and oils on canvas.
She will start her demonstration with the canvas on the floor, beginning to paint with loose gestural strokes then on the easel to paint in to the work with more detail.

Sunday 13 March
Julie Moonlight (Printmaker) 12 pm - 1 pm
Julie will demonstrate linocut printing, with the opportunity for you to try for yourself. She will explain the procedure, exploring her subject through working drawings, using them to design her print.

Christine Pattullo (Textile Artist) 2 pm - 3 pm
A manipulator of cloth, Christine will talk about her delicate wall hangings of layered organza, and about the Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene and why the hangings are named for them.
