Bowerbank Ninow is pleased to present its first auction of 2016, Auction N2, which will be held on Wednesday, 30 March at 6:30 p.m. The auction consists of a curated selection of over 80 lots of photography and photography-related material and is accompanied by a printed auction publication that includes critical texts by some of New Zealand's leading arts writers.

In addition to photographs by well-known contemporary New Zealand photographers, such as Laurence Aberhart, Fiona Pardington, Peter Peryer and Yvonne Todd, the catalogue also includes a host of works by international artists rarely available in New Zealand: these include Henri Cartier-Bresson, William Eggleston, Mike Kelley, Thomas Ruff, Juergen Teller, James Welling, Edward Weston and Garry Winogrand.

This auction will continue our policy of paying a resale royalty to living New Zealand artists. 2.5% of the hammer price of any artwork sold during the auction will be distributed to the work's creator. These funds will be drawn from Bowerbank Ninow's profits and will not result in any additional cost to either the buyer or seller.
