Z contributes $127,000 to support the RSA

A Z Energy discount day has raised $127,000 for the New Zealand RSA.

On 22 April – just ahead of the ANZAC weekend - Z offered a 10 cent per litre nationwide price discount, with half of the discount provided as a donation to the RSA.

Z Energy General Manager of Retail, Mark Forsyth, said he was delighted with the way Z’s customers had supported the offer.

“We’ve loved being able to support the RSA in its centenary year. They provide outstanding support services for our returned service people and we expect the need they address to continue,” he said.

“We’ve worked with the RSA since day one of Z and we feel particularly good that this money will make a real difference to returned service people and that it’s been raised in partnership with our customers.

“It also shows that the generosity of the Kiwi spirit is not a thing of the past. Our customers were all prepared to contribute a small amount to make the scale of this donation possible,” said Mark.

BJ Clark, National President of the RSA, said that the way Z supports the RSA is so important.

“We rely on support from New Zealanders to fund our work and Z has found a new way for everyone to contribute through this discount,” Clark said.

“We are very grateful for this support and look forward to our continuing partnership with Z.”
