Jakob Announce North Island Shows

Jakob Announce North Island Shows through June, July & August

New Zealand’s prog-giants Jakob are hitting the road once more to bring their sonic wall of sound to stages around the North Island, with a series of shows throughout June, July and August.

Bringing a dynamic intensity unparalleled to their live performance and recorded output alike, Jakob bounced back from years of injuries and interruptions with their powerhouse record Sines in 2015 to collect the acclaimed Taite Prize. Since then they have continued to raise the hair on the backs of necks nationwide with a captivating string of live shows.

The tour kicks off in Wellington on June 25th at the inimitable San Francisco Bathhouse, before heading to the band’s hometown of Napier for a show at the historic Cabana on July 9th. The North Island leg takes place in August, Jakob taking the stage at Hamilton’s Nivara Loung on August 9th and Auckland’s Kings Arms on August 20th.

Tickets are on sale from Under the Radar at a pre-sale price of $20, or on the door for $25 - with the exception of Napier which will be $20 on the door, no pre-sales. Doors will open at 8pm with music commencing at 9pm sharp.

Don’t miss Jakob as they deliver material from Sines and beyond with intoxicating energy and presence on stages around Aotearoa.

Tickets are on sale via Under The Radar here.
