The highly
anticipated model casting for New Zealand Fashion Week
(NZFW) will be held at the Aotea Centre this Saturday, 6th
August.
One of the milestone events in the lead up to NZFW, the annual model casting always adds to the glamour and excitement around New Zealand’s largest fashion event, with NZFW designers and hopeful models coming together for the first time each year.
The model casting is the opportune time to see New Zealand’s rising stars in person, with hundreds of hopefuls walking to secure a spot on the NZFW runways. On the casting schedule this year is talent from Clyne Models, 62 Models & Talent, Bintang Models, Unique Models, Vanity Walk, New Face Models, Monarch, Kirsty Bunny, RPD Models and Red 11.
The ultimate opportunity for both designers and models to gain exposure on a global scale, New Zealand Fashion Week has proven an excellent international launching pad for emerging talent. Many now famous faces have gone on to international acclaim following their appearances at the event including Ashleigh Goode, Maia Cotton and Georgia Fowler.
The casting will be held in the Goodman Fielder room at the Aotea Centre and will run from 9.00am to 12.00pm.
