Count us in! Goodman steps up
for Steptember 2016
In the lead-up to STEPtember, Global Sponsor Goodman have been undertaking some fundraising activities around the world for this great cause, so what better place to launch STEPtember in New Zealand than with the great supporters at Goodman Highbrook offices.
At 8 am Thursday, September 1st with the
inducement prizes, coffee and a hearty breakfast at the
finish line, local business teams will be doing a brisk
circuit of Highbrook as they get a jump on their daily
10,000 steps and show a bit of good-natured rivalry.
If
you have ever been to Goodman’s award-winning Highbrook
complex, you will know the natural landscaped grounds are
designed to encourage and enhance healthy activities that
get you to break up your day by taking some time away from
the desk. This makes it the ideal location to start off
STEPtember.
Goodman has chosen STEPtember as their Global wellness and charity event for the year. Teams of four people are challenged to walk 10,000 steps (or equivalent activity) each day throughout September to help improve health and wellbeing while raising funds and awareness of cerebral palsy.
Gilli Sinclair CEO Cerebral Palsy Society thanks Goodman for their long-standing support and contribution to the Cerebral Palsy Society and STEPtember. “We are very grateful to Goodman for helping us to raise vital funds that allows us to continue to build better futures for individuals living with disability:”
With employees from more than 1,800 organisations globally expected to participate in Steptember 2016, this year’s event will be the biggest yet. Funds raised will go towards providing vital equipment, therapy and services to children and adults living with cerebral palsy or help fund ground-breaking research into the prevention, treatment and ultimately a cure for cerebral palsy. So why not join in and register your team today?
