Afternoon Tea With A Difference – High Tea & Burlesque

Enjoy an afternoon of vintage style high tea served by Te Awamutu’s ‘A Bit of Vintage Charm’ combined with Burlesque.

Dress up in your finest and come along for what will be a relaxing and highly entertaining Sunday afternoon of ‘High Tease’.

Ten ‘newbie’ Burlesque performers from the Glamilton Burlesque Academy will hit the stage with their acts, for some of these lovely Glamilton starlets it will be their debut show, for others perhaps only the second or third time performing in a show.

These fabulous BurleyQ starlets will be supported with acts from a lineup of Glamilton’s more experienced performers;

Miss Chievious Cinders – NZ’s Grand Dame of Burlesque
Azure D’Murre
Sugar Spanx
Pixie Twist
The Ginger Kisses

Sweet and savoury treats served on beautiful vintage china, plus two teas to
chose from.

Afternoon tease is a perfect way to sit back, relax and enjoy this witty, classic, surprising, artform that is Burlesque held at the wonderful Meteor Theatre.
