First withdrawals closed recently at Addington for the richest pacing and trotting races in New Zealand.
The Group One $750,000 Christchurch Casino New Zealand Trotting Cup has 25 horses remaining, with the most notable withdrawal being Hug the Wind trained by Barry Purdon.
Whereas the Group One $260,000 Haras des Trotteurs Dominion has 34 horses with the unfortunate withdrawal being the 2013 and 2015 Dominion winner Master Lavros.
Second withdrawals are due Wednesday, 12 October at 3pm.
