Bryant has won multiple national amateur titles including New Zealand National Amature Championship in Junior 1995 (Lt Heavy), Junior 1996 (Middle), Intermediate 1997 (Lt Heavy), Elite 1999 (Middle) and Elite 2004 (Lt Heavy).
