Congratulations André Hemer
Congratulations André Hemer
From a shaky Wellington, we
are delighted to be able to share with you The Arts
Foundation's announcement
that André Hemer is one of its 2016 New Generation Award
winners. As they say:
New Generation artists are the
hot shots, the ones to watch, and the ones who have an
X-factor that sets them apart from their peers. They have
assured potential. Their work is exciting. They are
independent, individual and show outstanding promise. They
also display a depth of thinking and consistency that gives
their work strength.
This award comes hot on the heels of André's winning of the Paramount Prize in the Wallace Art Awards.
Having worked with André for a decade, we are very excited for him.
To celebrate these two big wins, we are pleased to be release some new prints which Andre has sent from Vienna, where he is currently living. Check them out online now and we will have some hanging in the gallery in December.
Please contact
us for more information about the new prints or any
other work
in stock by
André.
